Cancellation Request

We’re sorry you’re thinking of cancelling your policy. We’re always here for you, now and in the future, so don’t hesitate to get in touch for immediate queries or to begin a new policy. If you decide to cancel your policy, cancellation requests need to be sent to us in writing. This is in agreement with our terms and conditions (which you can view here).

Cancelling within 30 days:

If you decide to cancel your selected plan with us, you have the right to cancel within 30 days of signing the application. To do this, you’ll need to sign the cancellation slip at the bottom of the arrangement form or write to us as instructed above. You won’t receive any penalties or cancellation charges, and you’ll be fully refunded all payments you’ve made so far.

Cancelling after 30 days:

If you need to cancel your plan after 30 days, all you need to do is send us written notification and if we’ve sent you a funeral certificate, you’ll need to return this too (including any other copies we sent you). Until we receive the funeral plan certificate, we will not be able to return any money to you. However, once we’ve received the certificate all payments you have made to us will be refunded, except the £250 administration fee and £100 cancellation fee. If the amount you’ve paid is less than the cancellation fee, we have the right to request you to pay the balance.
